AgSpan a division

Performance Program.
It's easy
to participate:
1.
Install AgSpan-automated interfaces for collecting
feedlot performance data. Assistance is provided by your software provider or AgSpan.
2.
After closing your feedlot accounting system on a
monthly basis, run the AgSpan interfaces to create the
performance files and email to AgSpan.
3. Receive
monthly, quarterly and annual Benchmark performance reports
AgSpan has
established data collection interfaces with all major
feedlot accounting systems. When a feedlot signs up for
Benchmark program, AgSpan deploys the necessary interfaces
to support the collection of live performance, animal
health, demographic and carcass data. These interfaces
facilitate the automated collection of feedlot data and
dramatically reduce manual data-collection requirements.
Monthly
requirements from the feedlot administrative staff are
minimal. After closing the feedlot accounting system on a
monthly basis, the feedlot administrative staff runs the
AgSpan interfaces to create the performance files. This is
as easy as selecting a menu option in the feedlot accounting
system to run the AgSpan interface. These files are
attached to an email message and sent to AgSpan.
Feedlot data is collected in the proprietary, secure AgSpan
data mine. The data mine supports the creation of Benchmark
views including regional, country, corporate and other
custom groupings. This data mine enables numerous reporting
views that provide unique insight into feedlot operational
performance.
