"Hitch Enterprises switched over to Component® with Tylan® in the first quarter of 2001 on Henry C," says Chris Hitch, Vice President of Feedlot Operations. "The next feedyard we switched over on the third quarter of 2001 and then the next feedyard we switched over the first quarter of 2002. So, it took us a year to change over from our other implant strategies to Component with Tylan. We did it individually so we could measure the results a lot more accurately and focus on the individual yard's change."
